A rare opportunity has become available for a highly-qualified and driven Bid Coordinator in our Sydney Office (Kensington Location).

The Menzies Group of Companies is one of the largest family-owned cleaning and facility services companies in Australia, provides quality, "value for money" solutions to blue chip customers on a national scale.

Our company is undergoing a period of substantial growth and requires an experienced, highly-qualified and driven Bid Coordinator to join our Business Development team in our head office.

Essential Criteria

  • Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and moderate skills in Excel;
  • Experience in producing high quality company documentation; and
  • Experience in working within tight and changing time constraints.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in a deadline / project oriented environment;
  • Experience in any additional publishing or drawing programs;
  • Experience in a tender environment; and
  • Experience in the facilities management industry.

Position Overview

  • Receive tender documentation and review documentation to ensure basic knowledge of scope and develop a full understanding of the client document format and delivery requirements (this may be in the form of Request for Tender, Request for Proposal, Expression of Interest, Quotation or other as detailed by our client);
  • Develop response using existing company information;
  • Develop customized company tender documentation;
  • Review in consultation with responsible Manager client Draft Agreement / Contract for Menzies compliance;
  • Request additional information from Managers where required;
  • Project management of response process;
  • Provide a logic / graphical / grammatical / spelling edit for final draft;
  • Produce final tender submission documents including all attachments (word process, print, bind as specified in the tender documentation) and arrange delivery according to client instructions;
  • Produce and publish monthly reports on activities
  • Support the Corporate and State Branch Offices with submission and general tender information and advice;
