Reporting directly to the Senior Executive for Business Development, your role will be to develop, analyse and fine tune costing models and manage quotations and tenders to drive the acquisition of new business and protect existing relationships. This is a critical role in ensuring that the business is competitive in the market and converts business opportunities into sound commercial and strategic relationships for the business and the client.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role including a mix of operational experience and analytical.
- Preparation of cost estimates for tender submissions
- Communicate cost estimates information accurately
- Measure pricing against operational and industry benchmarks
- Ability to assess risk and opportunity
- Manage multiple conflicting priorities and complex issues
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Commercial focus and understanding of the overall cleaning industry
- Have an understanding of the Cleaning Services Award and Fair Work Act
- Good understand of cleaning production rates
- Understanding linkage of a commercial bid while ensuring full industrial compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and have the ability to write complex formulas
