About the Role
Menzies Facility Services is seeking a commercially minded and detail-driven National Estimator to support the delivery of accurate, competitive, and profitable pricing solutions across our national operations.
This role is critical to driving business growth, working closely with Bid, Operations, and Leadership teams to develop robust pricing models that underpin successful tender submissions and long-term client partnerships.
You will play a key role in shaping how we price work, assess risk, and position ourselves in the market.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate and commercially sound pricing models for tenders, proposals, and contract renewals
- Analyse tender documentation to understand scope, service delivery requirements, and commercial risks
- Conduct site visits and collaborate with operational teams to validate assumptions and inputs
- Build detailed cost models including labour, materials, equipment, overheads, and margin structures
- Provide scenario analysis and commercial insights to support bid strategy and decision-making
- Maintain and enhance pricing templates, tools, and benchmark databases
- Track and analyse tender outcomes to continuously improve pricing strategies
- Support bid submissions and presentations where required
- Maintain pipeline and opportunity data through systems such as Salesforce (or equivalent)
About You
You are analytical, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You enjoy solving problems, building models, and influencing outcomes through data.
Role can be based in Victoria or NSW.
You will bring:
- Experience in estimating, pricing, financial modelling, or commercial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modelling, data analysis, scenario modelling)
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Ability to translate operational requirements into practical pricing solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Experience in facilities management or service-based industries (desirable)

Governance & Decision Making
This role operates with a high degree of autonomy in developing pricing models and commercial solutions. Depending on the size and complexity of opportunities, pricing and submissions will undergo appropriate internal review, which may include senior leadership, CEO and/or Board-level oversight.
