We are currently seeking reliable, motivated and hardworking Cleaners to join our team in Lithgow/Mt Piper
ABOUT THE ROLE
Cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
We are looking for cleaners to work within a commercial cleaning outage contract, commencing September 2026
We are currently seeking a number of reliable and hardworking people to perform various cleaning duties within our Outage contract at Mt Piper.
Duties include all aspects of commercial contract cleaning. Equipment and full training provided.
As a Cleaner with Menzies, you will play an important role in maintaining safe, clean and hygienic environment facilities for Energy Australia Mt Piper personnel and visitors.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- General commercial cleaning
- Vacuuming, mopping and floor care
- Cleaning offices, amenities and common areas
- Waste removal and recycling
- Sanitisation and infection control cleaning
- Maintaining presentation standards and site cleanliness
We have a range of casual positions available. Generally positions are Monday to Friday, day/night however some weekend work may be required as well.
All applicants must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a police check as well as random drug and alcohol tests as a condition of employment.
MUST HAVE WHITE CARD,
Applicants who are not Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents must provide proof of entitlement to work including any restrictions on hours of work.

Applications are encouraged to allow sufficient time for security screening and onboarding ahead of the contract commencement date in September 2026.
Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. A current driver's licence and reliable transport will be highly regarded.
