ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a qualified handyman to work within a commercial cleaning contract in the Mt Piper/Lithgow area.

Desirable Competencies

·        Successfully completed secondary school to Year 10 level

·        Completed a TAFE Certificate IV in a Trade (or equivalent)

·        Previous experience as a Handyman/Maintenance person in a commercial environment

·        Punctual, honest and an efficient worker

·        Forms good working relationships

·        Can read and write in English

·        Self-motivating

·        Dependable, organized and thorough

·        Takes pride in the work they perform

Understanding of risk management (hazards and controls, etc)

Cleaning experience preferred but not essential.

All applicants must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a  police check, random drug and alcohol tests as a condition of employment.  

Applicants who are not Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents must provide proof of entitlement to work including any restrictions on hours of work. 

generally the position is Monday to Friday, however some weekend work could be required.
