ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for reliable and hard working people to perform various cleaning duties for the Melbourne City Council - the "City of Melbourne".
All aspects of commercial cleaning will be included in these roles which include but are not limited to:
- vacuuming
- mopping
- high dusting
- desk / table cleaning
- amenities cleaning (including toilets)
- buffing / scrubbing hard floors
- spot cleaning and vacuuming
- internal waste collection

People with license and own transport are encouraged to apply. Travel allowance paid.
We have positions available on weekdays (day and night) as well as weekends (day and night).
Cleaning experience preferred.
- All applicants must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a police check and have a Working with children Check as a condition of employment (please still apply if you do not have one as yet)
- Drivers license is desirable due to the nature of some of the work
- Applicants who are not Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents must provide proof of entitlement to work including any restrictions on hours of work.
