We are seeking a motivated and outgoing individual for the position of Talent Recruitment Officer, who will have a positive attitude and enjoys working in a team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The position is established to add value to the functions and services that are performed at the corporate level of the company. The structure of the position includes activities and tasks which are essential to the efficiency of Menzies Corporate Services and are performed in conjunction with varied and undefined responsibilities that present at times without notice.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes and capabilities:

  • Demonstrated administrative competencies, involving high-level communication ability, efficiency in use of time and resources and effectiveness in how key tasks are completed
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in MS Office suite
  • A capacity to foster and maintain strong communication paths with internal & external stakeholders
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and maintain high levels of efficiency
  • The capacity to work autonomously and support and to efficiently self-manage
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • A demonstrated ability to document and prepare detailed, correspondence and reports
  • Ensuring reports are accurate and that appropriate analysis has been conducted and remedial measures taken to rectify situation
  • Strong attention to detail

RECRUITMENT, SELECTION, ONBOARDING & OFFBOARDING:

  • Ensure that accurate job descriptions are in place
  • Provide advice and assistance with writing job descriptions
  • Post job advertisements on internal and external platforms to attract relevant talent
  • Manage communications between applicants, hiring managers and others to keep all parties apprised of the status of each search.
  • Schedule in regular meetings with hiring managers to understand their current and future recruitment requirements
  • Develop a recruitment tracking spreadsheet which will be shared with the business
  • Use the recruitment platform [Scout] to search for relevant talent and conduct phone screening techniques using the required documentation in accordance with the management system
  • Seek to conduct reference checks in accordance with the management system
  • Manage the onboarding process through the electronic onboarding software [FlareHR]
  • Send offer electronically
  • Contact the employee to advise that is has been sent
  • Follow up employee to ensure that they complete the onboarding process as soon as possible
  • Advise the hiring manager once the onboarding process is completed
